Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Resumind iOS app and resumind.cc.

What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Resumind:

• Email address and name (provided at sign-up or via Google/Apple)
• Job preferences you set during onboarding (role families, keywords, where you're based, eligibility mode, salary floor)
• Jobs you save and status updates you apply to them
• A push-notification token, only if you turn on the daily digest or instant alerts
• Product analytics: which screens you open and which jobs you view, save or apply to (via PostHog), and crash reports (via Sentry). These are tied to a random device ID, or to your account once you sign in, and are used only to improve the app.

We do not collect your precise location, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Personalize your job feed based on your preferences
• Store and sync your saved jobs across devices
• Allow you to track your application status

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Job Data

Job listings displayed in Resumind are sourced directly from official applicant-tracking systems used by employers (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters) and from remote-job boards that publish public feeds for syndication (Remotive, Remote OK, Jobicy, Himalayas, Arbeitnow, Working Nomads, We Work Remotely). All sources expose this data through publicly documented APIs or feeds intended for this use, and listings from a job board are credited with a link back to it. Job content is the property of the respective employers. Resumind never sources listings from LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor.

The eligibility label on each job ("Hires worldwide", "US only", "Eligibility unclear"…) is generated automatically from the listing's location text and description. It is our best reading of the posting, not a guarantee — always confirm with the employer.

Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS us-east-1). All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Row-level security policies ensure you can only access your own data.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data (profile, preferences, saved jobs) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you (use the Export Data feature in Profile)
• Correct inaccurate data (edit your preferences in Profile)
• Delete your account and all associated data (use Delete Account in Profile)
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

Third-Party Services

Resumind uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and serverless ingestion
• Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters — public ATS APIs that supply job listings
• Remotive, Remote OK, Jobicy, Himalayas, Arbeitnow, Working Nomads, We Work Remotely — public remote-job feeds
• Google Sign-In — optional authentication
• Apple Sign-In — optional authentication
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Expo push service — delivers notifications you opt into
• PostHog — product analytics
• Sentry — crash reporting

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data handling.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
